I just can’t get enough of Krochet Kids International’s 2012 fall lookbook. I can’t wait for it to get cold here in the desert of Cali so that I can finally wear a beanie and lots of layers! On another note if you don’t know much about Krochet Kids International they are a really great company dedicated to make a difference in our world and help people in need. The company began with three friends who used their skills of crocheting to teach women in Uganda how to make products. Here is a little bit about the company in their own words:
“Krochet Kids intl. has continued to grow and evolve in ways we never imagined since we earned our non-profit status in January 2008. Today, over 150 people in Uganda and Peru are working, receiving education, and being mentored toward a brighter future. The products created abroad have been well received here at home and the collaboration of our staff and beneficiaries around the globe has created a sustainable cycle of employment and empowerment.
Our two project locations are but microcosmic examples of what we hope to replicate throughout impoverished communities around the globe. Join with us as we continue to spread the good word of hope and empowerment …
BUY A HAT. CHANGE A LIFE.” – Krochet Kids International
